3. Application Procedure

  1. (a) You can obtain or download the “S1 Admission Application Form (Discretionary Places)” from our school, and submit the following in person during office hours between 2 January 2025 and 16 January 2025:
    1. A completed “S1 Admission Application Form (Discretionary Places)”
    2. The original “Application Form for Secondary One Discretionary Place” issued by the Education Bureau (including the three connected parts: “EDB’s Copy,” “School’s Copy,” and “Parent’s Copy”)
    3. Copies of Primary Five and Primary Six report cards (no need to submit primary school recommendation letters)
    4. Original and copy of identification documents (e.g. Hong Kong birth certificate / Hong Kong permanent identity card / Permit for Travelling to and from Hong Kong and Macao / Permit for Proceeding to Hong Kong and Macao / Notification Slip for Entry Visa / Permit)
  2.      Our school will stamp the “Application Form for Secondary One Discretionary Place” with the school chop upon receival of your application form.
  3. (b) Parents can also submit their application electronically through the “e-SSPA” platform and upload the relevant document copies as instructed.

Remarks:

1. Applications submitted through the “e-SSPA” platform and those submitted in person at the school have the same chances of acceptance. Please do not apply using both methods simultaneously.

2. Applications by mail will not be accepted.

4. Arrangement for Interview

All applicants will have the opportunity for an interview. Interview notification letters will be sent out after receival of application. Applicants and their parents should attend the interview at the designated time on 15 March 2025 (Saturday). The interview date cannot be changed. If you wish to change the interview time, please call the school office on or before 28 February 2025 (Friday). The school will do its best to accommodate requests based on the actual situation.

5. Notification Arrangement for Accepted Students

Our school will notify all accepted students’ parents in writing and by phone on 31 March 2025 (Monday). Please ensure the address and phone number are correctly filled out on the application form. If there are any changes to the information, please inform the school in advance.

6. Important Notes

Each applicant may apply to not more than two schools participating in the Secondary School Places Allocation System. Applying to a third school which may result in disqualification.
