The Chief Executive’s Award for Teaching Excellence ~ Certificate of Merit
Our Economics teachers, Mr Chui Chi Keung and Ms Suen Yin, won the Certificate of Merit in the Chief Executive’s Award for Teaching Excellence in 2018/19 with their teaching philosophy and design entitled “Learning Economics; Learning how to be a human being”. Collaborative Inquiry and Flipped Classroom have been integrated into the curriculum of Economics. Cross-curriculum projects or community projects have been carried out to foster students’ self-directed learning, to help them build a connection with the community, to enrich their understanding of life and to encourage them to put what they have learnt into practice.
Excellent Teacher Award
Our Liberal Studies teacher, Ms Choi Lai Ying, won the Excellent Teacher Award in the “2019 Excellent Teacher Election” organized by Hong Kong Federation of Education Workers with her teaching design entitled “Developing Mental Framework by Scaffolding”.
Caring Campus
Our school was granted the honour of Caring Campus in 2017 with our curriculum of Life Planning. Our teachers encouraged students to pursue their dreams and assisted them to make their dreams come true.
GETN 4.0 ~ The Best Performer
Our teacher, Ms Ching Wing Sze, was elected to be one of the best performers in the programme entitled “Google for Education Teachers Network (GETN) 4.0”.
National Mathematical Forum for Youths
In the Hong Kong Junior Mathematics Olympiad – National Mathematical Forum for Youths (2018-19), our Mathematics teacher, Mr Chan Tin Chi, won the Best Mentor Award for his excellent performance of giving advice to students while they were doing research at an advanced level.
Hong Kong School Drama Festival – The Outstanding Director Award
During the Hong Kong School Drama Festival in 2018-19, our teacher, Ms Chan Hoi Nap, won the Outstanding Director Award.
During the Hong Kong School Drama Festival in 2017-18, our mentor, Ms Ho Yuet Yan and our teacher, Ms Chan Hoi Nap, won the Outstanding Director Awards.
