Rules and Regulations

  • School rules

School rules are established with the aim to build a friendly, positive, reciprocal​​ and orderly learning environment, which facilitates students to grow morally, intellectually, physically,​​ socially, aesthetically and spiritually. All students are expected to abide by the school rules.

 

 

  • Code​​ of​​ Conduct

  • ​​ Respect your teachers and love your peers.

  • Respect yourself and others.

  • Work hard, exercise self-discipline and abide by all school​​ rules and regulations.

  • Have regard for all school property and maintain a clean school environment.

  • Maintain keen social awareness. Be willing to serve and practise good citizenship.

 

  • Attire and Grooming

  • The​​ attire and grooming of all students should be​​ simple, modest and fitting. Outrageous demeanor and clothing should be avoided.

  • Students​​ are required to wear their school uniforms in a proper manner when attending school or when participating in activities arranged by the school.

  • Students'​​ school uniforms should conform to the style and standard of the samples displayed at the school.

  • Hairstyles should be simple, neat and clean. No perming, dyeing or tinting of hair is allowed. The use of gels or hairspray is also prohibited. The fringe of the hair should not cover the eyebrows. The hair of male students should be above the shirt collar. Female students with long hair should tie their hair. All hair accessories should be in plain blue, black and grey.

  • Students are not allowed to wear make-up,​​ earrings, necklaces, rings or wristbands in school unless they have obtained prior consent from the school.

  • Fingernails should not be too long or painted.

 

 

 

 

 

School Uniform Standard

Summer

Boys

  • Plain white short-sleeved shirt with turned-down​​ collar (with school badge)

  • Sky-blue striped trousers with straight legs

  • Flat plain black leather shoes

  • Short plain white socks

  • Plain black leather belt

Girls

  • Sky-blue striped dress (with school badge) with a navy-blue stripe on the fringe of the​​ sleeves, belt, small tie (The dress must be long enough to cover the knees.)

  • Flat plain black leather shoes, no special ornaments are allowed

  • Short plain white socks or crew socks

 

Winter

Boys

  • Plain white long-sleeved shirt with​​ turned-down collar (with school badge)

  • School tie

  • Grey flannel trousers with straight legs

  • School blazer

  • Flat plain black leather shoes

  • Short plain white socks

  • Plain black leather belt

Girls

  • Plain white long-sleeved shirt with turned-down collar

  • School tie

  • Squared-neck blue checked flannel dress (The dress must be long enough to cover the knees.)

  • School blazer

  • Flat plain black leather shoes, no special ornaments are allowed

  • Short plain white socks or crew socks

 

Others

  • Students should not wear​​ white cotton shirts with hidden patterns.

  • Students should wear navy blue sweaters or vests if necessary.

  • Only clothes authorised by the school can be worn.

  • Plain blue, black or grey scarves and gloves may be worn when the need arises.

  • In winter, students should wear the designated school jacket to keep warm. Students are advised to wear sweater or down vests underneath the jacket if necessary.

  • When Cold Weather Warning is issued before 6:30am, girls are allowed to wear winter P.E. uniform to keep warm.

 

 

Hairstyles

Boys​​ 

  • The hair should not be too long. The length of hair should not reach eyebrows, ears or the collar.

  • The hairstyles should be neat and modest.​​ 

Girls

  • Hair should be tied up if its length exceeds the shoulders. Hair ornaments or ribbons​​ should be dark blue, black of grey in colour.

  • Hair should not partially cover the face.

 

 

Others

  • No perming, dyeing or tinting of hair is allowed. The use of gels or hairspray is also prohibited.

  • Students are not allowed to wear make-up,​​ earrings, necklaces, rings or wristbands in school unless they have obtained prior consent from the school.

  • No coloured contact lenses are allowed. The design of eyeglasses should be modest.

  • Fingernails should not be too long or painted.

 

 

P.E. Uniform

Boys and Girls

1. School​​ Sports T-shirt

5. Sports shoes

2. School black shorts

6. Short plain white socks or crew socks

3. School track suit

 

4. School grey sweater

 

Remarks:

a.​​ Students may wear P.E. uniforms only if they have P.E. lessons.

b.​​ Students should not wear team uniforms to school.

 

  • Early Leave and Application for Leave

    • Students should not leave the school without permission during school hours.

    • In case students need to take early leave due to sickness or emergency, an early leave​​ application must be processed at the General Office. On the first day of returning to school, students should follow up and complete the formal procedures of application for early leave.

    • In the event of planned special leave, students must complete the formal procedures of application for special leave in advance.

    • When applying for sick leave for their children, parents must notify the General Office before the lesson starts on the morning of leave by calling 29473698. Students are then required to complete​​ the formal procedures of application for sick leave on the first day of returning to school.

    • In case the sick leave extends for two or more days, apart from complying with the above procedures, students are required to submit a doctor’s certificate.

    • Application of leaves with non-urgent reasons such as travelling or family visits will not be considered and will be treated as truancy.
