Our Science Team participated in the Artificial Intelligence and Innovation Technology Competition 2021-2022 organized by the Education University of Hong Kong, successfully became one of the ten finalists and eventually won the Merit Award and the Most Creative Award.
The winners included So Ho Chun and Xiao Chi Fu from 1B, Wong Shun Wang Viol from 1E and Chan Chun Hin (Supporting member) from 1B. Their invention was called AI Baby Monitor. It is a device which uses the technology of artificial intelligence to monitor babies instantly and avoid babies from touching dangerous items or entering dangerous areas.
It was the first time the above students had participated in inter-school science competitions. Their opponents included senior science teams from other schools. It is really encouraging that they have won two awards in the competition. It is hoped that they can achieve better results in the field of innovation technology in the future.
