Over thousands of Hong Kong and Macau primary and secondary students participated in the Taiping Cup Writing Contest (太平盃學生徵文大賽) named by Taiping Life (HK) and organized by Commercial Press. The theme of the contest was “The Wealth of Life”.
We are grateful that Zhou Wing Kwan from 3A was the Champion in the Junior Secondary Division and Yeung Cheuk Ying from 6B was the Second Runner-up in the Senior Secondary Division. Their writing was compiled into an anthology. We are pleased that our school has won The Merit Award as well.
The Awards Presentation Ceremony and the Exhibition of contestants’ writing were held at Fashion World, The Whampoa in May 2021. Our Principal, Dr. Chan, a Chinese teacher, Ms Law, and the above two winners were invited by the organizer to share what they thought about creative writing during the ceremony.
